After our exciting and intoxicating tour of Wales, we are back home in Batheaston at Cliffside for a couple of days of relaxation before we fly back to Toronto on the morning of April 30th.
While we were gone, the magnolia on the front terrace has burst into full bloom!
We start our day at Fine Cheese again, then pop over the other side of Walcot street to Shannon, the local store that sells the fine china they use at Fine Cheese.
I find a parking spot on the road in front of K+A's house and just barely make it legal with my front tire at the line!
A view of their stone wall from the road reveals all the trees have come alive, and provides a colorful backdrop to a portrait of F+K.
At lunch we are back at Gather to partake in their excellent and tasty local fare.
At Tea Time, Alex whips up his perfect machiattos and we tuck into the treats we bought at Fine Cheese.
