Despite the rainy
day, we venture out for coffee in Porthmadog at the Big Rock cafe; great choice
for coffee and breakfast, then visit a local bookstore before heading towards
Snowdonia mountain and the Alpine Resort, where K+A stayed during one of their
trips to that area. We have lunch in the Alpine cafe, view the renewed usage of the trainstation, stop by a local 14 Century church,
St. Mary's and then head back down A487 to Porthmadog to pick up some groceries.
